Kıvanç Öztüzün was born into an educated family in Bandırma in 1981. His father was graduated from Galatasaray University of Chemical Engineering, and his mother had a double major from the Istanbul University department of physics and astronomy. He has a sister who is an electrical and electronics engineer, has a small company with her husband, and lives in California.

He enjoyed his childhood in Bandırma and then moved with his family to Eskisehir. He completed his secondary and high school education at Eskisehir Anatolian High School. As an essential step in his education life, he moved to İzmir and graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine. Kivanc also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Bilgi University.

In his school life, he was a member of different university clubs, including ELADA (Ege University Latino Dance Club) and EHAVK (Ege University Aviation Club Paragliding Team). And also, he participated in the medical faculty swimming and table tennis teams.

He started his career as a physician. He completed his obligatory medical service, as the chief physician of a primary health institution in Sultangazi, Istanbul. During his mandatory service, he had an active role as an educator in the family medicine certification training. He worked as a physician in different managerial positions for about six years.

In 2014, he decided to pursue his dream career in the pharmaceutical industry and has worked at different medical management positions at global pharmaceutical companies (AstraZeneca, Sanofi Genzyme, and Rhythm Pharmaceuticals).

In 2020, Kivanc founded Trispera Pharma Solutions in March and works as a medical consultant. His professional interests include rare diseases, metabolic disorders, and biosimilar products. He defines himself as an active student of life, and he continues his journey.
